Ilion Days Princess Pagent

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Please join us for the 37th annual Ilion Days Princess Pageant. This pageant is free for all girls, ages 5-18, and boys, ages 5-8 that reside in Herkimer County. The pageant will be held at the Ilion Municipal Building, 49 Morgan Street on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

HOW TO APPLY:Complete the Princess Pageant Application and return it to the address listed below by July 8th. We will use the information available on the application for the introduction. The questions asked by the M.C. may be random questions. Complete the application and Mail to: Debbie French 4 English Street Ilion, New York 13357
WHAT TO WEAR:Girls may wear an age-appropriate gown, party dress or their Sunday-best outfit. Boys may wear a suit or their Sunday-best outfit. There are NO dressing rooms available, so please arrive at the Municipal Building dressed and ready by 2:00pm AT THE LATEST.

JUDGING:Contestants will be judged on: SMILE PERSONALITY OVERALL APPEARANCE HOW THEY ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ASKED BY OUR M.C. There will be one winner and two runners-up in each division. The winners will receive a crown, sash, trophy, bouquet of flowers and a gift. Second and third runners-up will receive trophies.

OPTIONAL: Photogenic:Contestants interested, please bring a 5x7 or 8x10, black and white or color photo of yourself, or child, to be judged.
RIDE IN THE PARADE:THE WINNERS WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO RIDE IN THE 2023 DOO-DAH PARADE. Winners will be asked to be present, if possible, and to help out if needed at other Ilion Days events wearing their sashes and crowns. We would like to have the winners available for introductions and crowning at the 2023 Ilion Days Pageant.

REMEMBER: THE DEADLINE IS JULY 8TH, 2023

NO EXCEPTIONS AND NO WALKINS WILL BE PERMITTED.
