Tuesday July 18, 2023 History Night begins at 6pm At Ilion Marina
The Ilion Marina Commission is sponsoring a History Night. The evening begins at 6pm with music by by Miss Sammy Johnson and Friends playing the dulcimer and other old time Appalachian instruments. This will be followed by two presentations. Dan Clayton will talk about the bloody Mohawk area history pre-revolution to the revolution and Mike Disotelle will discuss early Ilion history. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an evening at the Ilion Marina!
Wednesday, July 19,2023 Book Signing at Ilion Public Library from 4-7pm
Presentation for 5-6pm in the Remington Room. Mr. Joseph Collea is back for a book signing of his new book Our Town-Ilion, NY: A Selective Look at 300 Years of History- Volume!!
. Mr. Collea will talk about his book from 5-6pm. If available Mr. Kevin Hall will be back again this year. Mr. Hall will talk about his podcast and his memories of Ilion.
